Hello out there... This blog will hopefully be a helpful tool for you or others out there who would like some ideas on cakes and parties. While there are a lot of sites out there dedicated to various aspects of party throwing and cake making, I hope to streamline some of the processes that I use while setting up my parties and ideas. I also hope that you can enjoy some of the images that will be shared.
A little about myself... I am an American who after growing up and coming home from college found myself lost for a little while. In my attempt to find where I needed to be and who I wanted to be, I ventured overseas to visit and to live for what turned out to be a few years. While in New Zealand, I met my loving husband, and would up figuring out where I wanted to be and who I wanted to be. We now live in Texas and have a beautiful little boy.
I have had no formal training on making cakes and throwing parties other than first hand experience. I have had some help with recipes from my mother who used to work at a bakery for a time, from some chef's who have been kind enough to help, and I do sell my cakes now.
